Welcome! I hope you find my humble resume to be concise and interesting.

Work Experience
With more than 35 years experience in graphic design, I've operated my own studio and also worked for several small companies. My work started in 1985–while still at community college–as a paste-up artist at a direct mail distribution center in Edison, NJ. Shortly after moving to Pocono Lake, Pa in 1986, I worked as a paste-up artist and eventually art director at a regional tourism magazine originally based in Hope, NJ and later in Stroudsburg, Pa.
In the early 1990s, I was hired by Keystone Media, Inc., first as a freelance designer, then as creative director/operations manager/transit advertising graphics installer. During this time I developed systems to improve workflow, logistics and production procedures. When that company downsized in 2005, I returned to self-employment, with an eight-year stint as a freelance graphic designer in Corporate Communications at PPL in Allentown, Pa.
In 2009, my wife Gail and I opened a small business of our own, Back Door Bakeshop, and to this day I handle all of the marketing and promotional aspects of the operation, including social media and in-house graphics.
As an independent graphic designer, my goal is to support and help facilitate the marketing and advertising plans of businesses and non-profit organizations in the Greater Lehigh Valley and surrounding region.
I do my best to focus on the key components of each client’s identity, and make sure that the integrity of that identity is maintained in all of their advertising and collateral materials.

Supporting Skills
I have excellent verbal communication skills, both as a writer and as a public speaker, hosting and emceeing many public events. Alongside my communications expertise, I believe my most valuable skills are problem-solving and logistics planning. I've served as campaign manager for a Bethlehem City Council candidate, chaired the ADDY Awards committee of the AAF-Greater Lehigh Valley, and I was the first woman elected president of the board of directors at Godfrey Daniels live music listening room in Bethlehem, Pa., leading that board and chairing the communications committee for 12 years. I've worked with numerous non-profit organizations, leading successful fund-raising events and managing groups of volunteers.
I've hosted folk music radio programs on WDIY (Allentown, Pa market) and produced and hosted my own webcast (flex. adapt with intent) in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. I'm also a skilled professional musician, since 1998, booking and promoting myself and my band throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
I hope you will consider passing my information on to your colleagues and friends. Perhaps we will work together in the future.
Thanks for visiting!
Dina
